Engagement of Retired Doctor 03 Allopathic on purely contractual basis for CGHS Wellness Centres at Meerut, Baghpat, Aligarh, Moradabad & Saharanpur

Applications are invited from Indian Citizen for engagement of retired doctors purely on short term contractual basis  as under:

Retired Doctors (GDMO): to be engaged for CGHS Meerut (03).

  1. Eligibility: Retired doctor from central/state government/PSU.
  2. Minimum Qualification: MBBS.
  3. Age should not exceeding 69 years.
  4. Should have operational knowledge of Computer.
  5. The initial appointment will be for a period of one year which may be extendable upto 70 years of age or till the regular incumbent joins, whichever is earlier.
  6. Remuneration (As per Ministry Order No. A.12026/01/2022-CHS-I dated 14-07-2023 and OM No. 03-25/2020-E.III.A dated 09-12-2020 & Letter No. A.11019/01/2027-CGHS-I dated 07-09-2025).
  7. Private practice of any kind not allowed.
  8. Place of duty – CGHS Wellness Centres Meerut & under the administrative control of CGHS Meerut (Baghpat, Aligarh, Moradabad & Saharanpur).
  9. Duty hours – 07:30 AM to 02:00 PM (Monday to Saturday).
  10. Application should reach office of Additional Director CGHS, Meerut on or before 15-10-2026 by 04:00 PM positively (No application will be entertained after that). Format and other terms and conditions of contractual appointment can be downloaded from website meerut.nic.in/cghs.
  11. Scrutiny of applications on 16-10-2026 by Screening Committee, CGHS Meerut.
  12. Interview date 23-10-2026 (Only eligible candidates after scrutiny will be intimated for interview). At the time of interview following documents are to be produced in original:
    • a. Retirement letter from the competent authority (Original).
    • b. Medical Fitness certificate from Competent Authority.
    • c. Pension Payment Order (PPO).
  13. Any sort of canvassing direct or indirect (Leader/Political) to influence the procedure would debar the candidate (as per CCS rules).
  14. Only selected candidate will be intimated.
  15. No correspondence/representation in regard of above procedure would be entertained.
  16. AD CGHS, Meerut reserves the right to postpone/cancel the above mentioned contractual recruitment of Medical Officer (retired) without assigning any reason.
  17. Lack of any mandatory document is mentioned in the application form would render the candidature cancelled.
